The cutting up of men
Why we must kill all men - Revisiting Valerie Solanas.

This text was the introduction to an ababnoned text I began to write long ago and got published as a short piece in a local Zine in January 2026
Solanas was a raging lunatic lesbian. Often called too extreme by academic feminists and assimilated women alike, it is exactly her burning rage that is so inspiring.
Her language might appear blunt and polemic, as it should, but those with the ability to read between
the lines, to take her literal writings as poetry, find a clear analysis and actionable call for revolution.
"Cutting up men" manifests a whole umbrella of meanings. From the literat killing of men, their deconstruction, their transformation or, as any trans woman can relate, all of the above.
At the core of every form of oppression, there is the cast of men. Men, as defined within the framework
of white colonial patriarchy, is normed to mean
white, cisthetero (passing), abled, economically privileged, and generally useless. Your landlord is,
by definition of patriarchy, a man, regardless of
their gender.
Man is the only gender in patriarchy recognized as a human. It is not simply a biological marker but a set of privileges and their resulting behaviours that defines "nan". Indeed some women strive to become "men" by striving for positions of power; as CEOs, police officiers and politicians. Rather than attacking the institutions that subjugate
all "not-men" they take part in and uphold them.
Similarly, some men fall into the category of "not men", being it faggots, men of colour or any other category emasculated by "real men".
The call to kill all men therefore is smply calling for you to make a choice. Stop being "men" or be obsolete. Being a man is a choice after all, not an excuse.
